Mattel Speed Racer Mighty Mach 5 Racing Wheel Luke Skywalker has his light saber, and Speed Racer has his specially equipped steering wheel to defeat bad guys and win key races. This toy features both interactive action play and realistic sounds that change depending on the child’s moves! The steering wheel buttons also replicate ones Speed uses to activate weapons on his MACH 5. The banner feature is a simple interactive game. Lights on the wheel demonstrate the presence of bad guys and prompt kids to turn to dodge them right or left. If they turn correctly, they continue hearing racing noises. If they turn toward the bad guy, they hear crashing noises!
Customer Review: Not the classic Mach 5 Wheel….WHY?!
Really. It’s a great idea for a toy/collectors item. But why isn’t it the Mach 5 Steering wheel?! That’s like a Superman action figure without the big “S”. This is the toy I’ve been waiting 35 years for and it looks like it came out of a cheap Mazda. I can go to a junkyard and get one of these for five bucks. If you must have one, wait until it’s on clearance, it won’t take to long.
