Customer Review: Very cool toy, if you don’t mind some noise
I have been playing electric guitar for over 20 years. This lil toy is a GREAT place to get kids started. It looks like a mini Gibson SG and approximates strumming, hammer ons, pull ofs and chord changes. If a kid gets good at playing along to the songs, I feel that they could easily be shown how to play those same songs on a real guitar. It IS a little noisy and if your kid likes to just sort of free form and noodle along with songs, it could give you a headache. Make them use the enclosed DVD and they will come around though.
Customer Review: Great Kids Guitar
I bought this as a birthday gift for my 4 year old grandson who is a wizard with Guitar Hero. It is very similar to the guitar used in the video game & therefore felt it would be a good stepping stone to the real thing. He loves it.

Customer Review: Good Family Fun
I purchased this Nerf game for my 12 year old son. It is really pretty cool and he and I have spent about 15 minutes on several occasions playing with it.
The first issue that we had was our 8 foot tall ceilings are not high enough for the product. Perhaps 10 or 12 feet are needed. We solved this by placing the product down in a stairwell with lots of clearance. We stood at the top of the stairwell and fired from there. In this arrangement, the disks were often at eye level or slightly below when we were firing. Also, we had to learn to track the path of the disk with the gun and fire near the top of the height of the disk.
The disk launcher can fire straight up or at a variable angle. Straight up worked fine for us. The variable angle would tend to hit the wall. One cool thing is that the height of the disk is intentionally varied to make this more challenging.
To start the disk, there is an IR (infrared) remote control mounted on the top of the gun. Press this button and the disk launcher starts a countdown process with a progression of beeps. When the disk is launched, try to follow its path from the launcher using the gun and then fire at the top of the arc. If I am careful, I can hit the disks about half the time. The darts are designed to stick to the disks, but that does not happen very often. This is not really a problem, but it would be cool if they stuck to the disks.
This product is very safe, however, you want to make sure that your child knows not to shoot someone in the face. You could do some eye damage at close range. Otherwise, you can safely take a hit a point blank range as my son and I often do.
This is a challenging and fun game and I highly recommend it.
Thanks

Hasbro Playskool Swing ‘N Score Baseball Help build your toddler’s physical skills with this colorful, electronic baseball toy that’s a home run in fun! Every time baby bats the ball, the toy “comes alive” with the sounds of the game, the crack of the bat and roar of the crowd. Sing along to the music of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” as bright lights flash with every hit. The swinging arm is height-adjustable to grow with your little slugger. And the chunky, easy-grasp bat stores conveniently on the swinging arm. Includes bat. Adult assembly required Age: 9 months+ Requires 3 “AA” batteries (included)
Customer Review: Stability Aside, This Toy Is Just Fine
Playskool’s Swing N’ Score Baseball toy is a fun toy for youngsters aged nine months and up. I wouldn’t expect children over the age of two years to find much use for this toy. It lights up when kids touch homeplate or swing the ball around on its post. My son, who just turned twelve months, prefers to hit at the ball with his hands more than the bat. He does enjoy swinging the bat around, however, but not at the ball. He enjoys the music and the lights also.

Customer Review: A Dad’s Thoughts on the REV-8
My son is 4-1/2 and has very good saving habits and is very responsible and thoughtful when picking toys. When he wanted a toy gun that went a bit beyond the guns he was building out of Lego’s or my old Lazer Tag guns, he bee-lined for the Nerf guns.
